Zorg Gemak Policy in short

• Online policy: you will find all your insurance information and correspondence on MijnZZ and all payments will go through direct debit
• 100 percent reimbursement for care by contracted care providers
• If you visit a non-contracted care provider, your reimbursement will be 70 percent
• Can be combined with AV-Gemak Regio, AV-Gemak and Module Buitenland

Online policy

With the Zorg Gemak Policy you arrange all your insurance matters fully online (DigiD required):

• All your insurance information and correspondence can be found on your MijnZZ.
• You will receive an notification by email if new information is available.
• You will pay your premium, excess and patient contributions by direct debit.

The Zorg Gemak Policy is a contracted care policy

This means that you will visit care providers with whom we have made agreements on the quality of care, prices and availability.

• You can choose from a wide range of care providers. We have a contract with most care providers in the Netherlands. We have contracts with all general practitioners (GPs), hospitals and obstetricians in the Netherlands.
• These contracted care providers subsequently claim your healthcare costs at Zorg en Zekerheid. There is no need for you to do anything.

Reimbursement

When you visit a contracted care provider, you will always be fully reimbursed, in accordance with the conditions of our health insurance policy. If you visit a non-contracted care provider, you will be reimbursed at 70 percent of the statutory or market rate, in accordance with the conditions of our health insurance policy.

The basic insurance covers such care as the general practitioner, hospital care, medication, medical transportation, obstetric care and maternity care.

Good to know

• In case of urgency, the hospital costs will be fully reimbursed under all our basic insurance policies. This applies to all hospitals.
